The Laurens County Trails Association invites the community and Upstate neighbors to celebrate National Trails Day with a family-friendly morning of fitness, fun, and community connection along one of Laurens County’s growing trail systems.
Event Schedule
8:30 AM | 5K Run
Open to walkers and runners of all skill levels. The race begins in front of the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce. Entry fee is $14, with all proceeds benefiting LCTA.
9:30 AM | Official Welcome
Located in the Activity Zones on the left side of the Chamber office.
9:30 AM | 2K Fun Run/Walk
Free and perfect for families and beginners. Awards will be given to the first man, woman, and child to cross the finish line, plus a special award for Most Patriotic Participant.
9:45 AM | Activity Zones Open
Event Highlights
Kids Bike Clinic: Free safety and bike skills clinic recommended for ages 5–12. Some bikes will be available, but children are encouraged to bring their own.
Healthy Living Fair: Wellness resources, health screenings, healthy eating and exercise games, plus free giveaways.
America 250 Family Fun Zone: Patriotic-themed games and activities celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
Live Music & Entertainment
Raffle Drawings: Great giveaways, including bicycles and donated items. Must be present to win.
